Il sapore dell'ananas essicato è molto vicino a quello naturale. Ho dato un giudizio medio perchè non è molto vicino al mio gusto
Organic dehydrated pineapple
The fruit of the Pineapple, a plant belonging to the Bromeliaceae family and native to Latin America (in the territory between Paraguay and Brazil) is probably the first and most famous tropical fruit served on European tables.
It is an evergreen perennial plant with grey/green, sword-shaped, arched and pointed leaves, which form a dense rose. At the center of the leaves, the flowers of the plant: small, blue, with three petals and organized in a sort of inverted cone. From each flower a fruit matures. All the fruits develop by coming together to form the pineapple, which is therefore an infructescence, that is, a complex of fruits derived from the flowers of an inflorescence and not the fruit of this plant.
The indigenous people of South America called it nana , a word that the Portuguese translated as ananaz , which became pineapple in Italian, French and German. For the Spanish, however, it was and is the piña due to its resemblance to a pine cone, hence the English term pine apple .
Natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, thanks, respectively, to the high concentration of bromelain and vitamin C, it is also recognized as having diuretic and purifying properties.
Among tropical fruits, it is among the least caloric (40/50 calories per 100 grams of fresh pulp). It has a very high fiber content, especially in its dehydrated version. Also noteworthy is the presence of mineral salts: potassium (250 mg), iron (0.5 mg), calcium (17 mg) and phosphorus (8 mg).
