Quinoa, leek and potato cream soup
Our quinoa soups are the organic alternative to industrial preparations in bags.
Practical and quick, but prepared with natural ingredients .
The basis is quinoa , the Andean pseudo-cereal belonging to the Chenopodiaceae family (the same as spinach), which grows at over 2500 meters above sea level in the Andes.
Legend has it that it was donated by the stars to a young Aymara who was guarding the fields at night, to feed his people.
Naturally gluten-free, high in protein and rich in all 9 essential amino acids that the body must regularly consume, because it is unable to produce.
Digestible, tasty and versatile. So much so that it is considered the rice of the third millennium.
A little rice flour, a little potato flakes, a little corn flour are added to the quinoa, all gluten-free ingredients to guarantee a 100% gluten-free recipe, flavoured, among other flavourings, also by garlic and onion, the king and queen of the table.
These are ingredients from organic farming, of plant origin, to guarantee a vegan product.
To satisfy all tastes, we have prepared them in 4 flavours: turmeric and ginger, leeks and potatoes, mushrooms and radicchio.
The one with leeks and potatoes is the velvety soup par excellence, the most loved and prepared. Ours, enriched with quinoa, is rich in organic potatoes and leek (in powder) but also in pieces, as tradition dictates.
Ingredients: Organic quinoa flour 25%, organic potato flakes (organic potatoes), organic rice flour, organic maltodextrin, organic leek 4%, salt, corn starch, natural flavouring, organic onion, organic garlic, organic parsley.
Allergens: May contain traces of sesame seeds and sesame seed products.
Uses: To prepare it, simply bring 450-500 ml of water to the boil (with a kettle, in the microwave or on the stove), add the entire contents of the sachet (65g), mix and leave to rest for 3 minutes. We recommend serving it with a drizzle of oil, and possibly a sprinkling of goat's cheese.
